Charlecote Park

The children were in school so we adults took advantage of the fact and visited a National Trust property called Charlecote Park in Warwickshire near Stratford-upon-Avon. The house has been in the Lucy family for approximately 700 years. The family came with William the Conqueror to England in 1066.

The house sits upon 75 hectacres and includes a deer run with a large number of deer. The back of the house has steps leading from the house to the adjacent Avon river where boats could've docked.
